Generation Next Football Club was founded in 2012 on the island Nation of Antigua & Barbuda by Ricky Santos, Director of GN Sports Global. What began as a small training group for young athletes quickly evolved into a thriving football community. With a vision to give young players access to opportunity, we wanted to create a space where passion, discipline, and personal growth could flourish through sport.

From the very beginning, the club has been based at St. Anthony’s Secondary School, where players still train today. Some matches are also held at the American University of Antigua football pitch. What started as a handful of footballers has grown into a club with nearly 150 players across multiple age groups, making Generation Next one of the most dynamic youth development programs in the region.

The club competes in the ACB Caribbean Junior Premier League across multiple age groups, a competition designed to elevate youth football standards within the Caribbean. To learn more about it, visit the dedicated page on our website.

Over the years, the club has achieved success across domestic competitions, but our proudest accomplishments go far beyond trophies. Several of our players have earned sports-based scholarships abroad, continuing both their academic and athletic journeys — a living testament to the club’s belief in football as a pathway to opportunity.
